Were the logic of proximity violence separated from the use of “means” in specific contexts and situations, this would be tantamount to separate it from all possible interpretations capable of “naturalizing” it, thus producing a sort of “racialization” of migrants (Crenshaw, 1991; Razack, Smith, & Thobani, 2011).
